Top 5 Tools Apps Performance on Unified Platform in Africa Q1 2024

In the first quarter of 2024, the performance of the top five tools apps in Africa showed varied trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive view of the app market in this region.

SHAREit: Transfer, Share Files experienced notable activity. Weekly revenue saw a steady climb, peaking at approximately $999 in the week of February 26. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 653K in early January and tapering to around 432K by the end of March. Active users showed a gradual decline from 18M to around 16M throughout the quarter.

Xender - Share Music Transfer had consistent download activity, beginning at 347K in the first week of January and rising to over 407K in the final week of March. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.9M to 2M during the quarter.

All Video Downloader & Player saw a progressive increase in weekly downloads, starting at 226K and peaking at 288K in mid-February before settling at 264K by the end of March. Active users also followed an upward trend, growing from 1.6M to nearly 1.9M by the quarter's end.
